Hub For Outer Bearing LM11949 & Inner Bearing LM67048

Question:

I bought a used trailer to build a overland trailer with. Its a 6 lug axle and missing 2 of the studs on each hub and the holes are wallowed out so I was going to replace the hubs. It appears that I have an odd ball spindle/Hub because my ID on the inner bearing is 1.25 and the ID on the outer bearing is .75, which I can only find a 4 lug hub with those bearings. Is there a 6 on 5.5 hub that I can put on that spindle? Thank in advance!

A bearing with a 0.75" inner diameter is LM11949 and a bearing with a 1.25" inner diameter is LM67048, and we don't have a hub with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. For a hub with a LM11949 outer bearing and LM67048 inner bearing, the closest is a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern for a 2,500 lb axle:

If that's not the correct weight rating for your axle or if you don't want to get new wheels and tires with that bolt pattern the only other thing you can do is replace the axle, which depends on the rating you need as well as the measurements. That could allow you to use a hub with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, and I've linked our entire selection of axles for you below as well as a video showing how to measure for the right replacement.
