We can help tell you how to determine the correct replacement axle, brakes and bearings for your Big Tex trailer but have no way of knowing exactly what you need. In order to choose the correct replacement axle for your trailer you will need to know the dimensions of your current axle's hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center; I have added a link below to a video which walks you through how to measure. The other thing you need to know is the weight capacity of the axle you need.
For example, the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # e63GR has a 5,200 lb capacity and measures 95 inches from hub face to hub face and 80 inches from spring center to spring center. This uses hub and drum # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K. I've added a link below to our selection of axles for you.
The bearings will be you will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. I have added a link below to our selection of bearings and seals.
Then for brakes you need to know your axle's weight capacity, your mounting flange bolt pattern and the inside diameter and depth of your drum. For example, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-6 are for 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb axles, measure 12" diameter x 2" wide (so that is the drum size they fit in) and fit a 5-bolt mounting flange. I have added a link below to our entire selection of brakes for you to come back to once you know this information.
