When greasing an EZ lube spindle how much grease should be used? Will I see excess grease coming out of the hub? Lee

Expert Reply:
It is very easy to over fill trailer hubs with grease when using the EZ lube fitting which then blows out the grease seal and makes a big mess. It's actually best to grease by hand and not use the fitting at all to prevent that. But if you are going to it I would recommend just putting in enough that allows the outer bearing to move slightly as you pump it in.
