Trailer Hub Wont Slide Onto the Spindle of a Timbren Axle-Less System
Updated 09/29/2021 | Published 09/28/2021 >
Question:
I just order this pre-greased part. Replaced the brake assembly as well. All parts match. However I cannot get the pre-greased hub fully on. All parts match. Not sure what to do solution wise. Thank you

If the hub/drum is not sliding onto the spindle of your Timbren Axle-Less system, there will be one of two things causing it.
First will be some kind of obstruction on the spindle that the inner bearing is getting caught on. You will need to make sure the spindle is completely smooth with nothing sticking up or out from the smooth surface.
If that's nice and smooth, you will most likely just need to tighten the brake pads down. Some times they can be spread out fairly far when we receive them from the manufacturer and this will need to be done. Once you get the brake pads tightened down, the hub should slide on, but still may need a little pressure to do so.
If either of these does not get the hub fitting properly, let me know and we can try something else.
