The best 5th wheel hitch combination for your 2016 Toyota Tundra CrewMax is going to be the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails item # DM8552020-71, the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # DM8550040, and the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails item # 16055.

Since your CrewMax has the super short 5-1/2' bed you are extremely limited with options. The only way to pull a 5th wheel trailer with this short of a truck bed is to use the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # DM8550040. This hitch will give you 22-1/2" of travel from front to back so you don't demolish the cab of your truck when turning.

The Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails item # 16055 has a 3" offset for help with clearance and a 25,000 lbs capacity. This plate has a 2-5/16" hitch ball.

You will need the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails item # DM8552020-71 to use both the gooseneck and 5th wheel hitches. This is a semi custom kit that will install a set of industry standard rails in the bed of your Tundra.
