Good morning! I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado without the towing package. I would like to use my Reese M5 hitch I had with my previous truck. What rails do I need?

Good morning! To use your Reese M5 item # RP30928 in your 2023 Silverado 2500, you will need the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit item # C16429-204. This is a custom fit kit that uses predrilled holes in your Silverado's frame. This not only cuts down on installation time but it prevents you from having to drill into your brand new truck.

I recommend adding the Mighty Cord 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector item # A10-7007, to your Silverado. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. It plugs into existing wiring that is easily accessible beneath your Silverado. This will make hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
