How to Determine Correct Placement of Ultra-Fab Steel Jumbo Roller for Trailers and RVs
Published 03/15/2023 >
Question:
Hi there, my trailer has a somewhat low sewer drain. I am afraid of sraping it on steep inclines. If mounted at the right height, would these stop the rear from dropping down to a point where sewer drain would be protected? Not worried about bumber, just the drain. Also, how do you measure to get the appropriate height of spacer between roller and frame.

To determine the correct height and location to install the Ultra-Fab Steel Jumbo Roller for Trailers and RVs # UF48-979023 you'll want to take a piece of wood or something long enough and straight to wedge up next to your tire and then hold at an angle to see where the 3-1/2" overall height of the roller system will make contact and help keep your sewage drain in better condition.
Attached is a photo a customer sent in where they used this method to figure out where the roller needed to be installed to avoid their rear scissor jack from contacting the ground.
