Replacement Brake Assemblies for Lippert ABS Hubs

Updated 03/31/2026 | Published 03/29/2026

Question:

Hello, I am looking for two complete brake assembles for a 2023 grand design 390rk. I am looking for one left side and one right side to have on hand for spares. It does have abs, not sure if that matters. Could you please assist me in locating the correct parts. I appreciate it

I'd be happy to Tom and thank you so much for the information! I checked with Grand Design and you will need the Electric Trailer Brake Assembly for Lippert ABS Hubs item # LC22NX for the Right Hand and item # LC82NX for the Left Hand.

The item # LC82NX and item # LC22NX brake assemblies are sold individually and are designed specifically for the Lippert ABS system. These are identical replacements so they'll definitely work as spares.

We also have the Replacement ABS Sensor for Lippert ABS System item # LC98FC if you want to keep a spare set of sensor harnesses on hand. Lippert's ABS assemblies do not have the sensor built into them.

Did you have a big road trip planned or are you just trying to be prepared for a bad day?

@Tom I sure do! The Mounting Bolts and Hardware item # BRKH12S should be torqued to 35-55 ft-lbs when used on the item # LC82NX and item # LC22NX brake assemblies.

My first time ever to replace brake assembly... It was only a matter of common sence and ability to follow youtube instructions. The job turned out great and I saved a ton of money doing it myself!
