Question:
Snap pad for a 2026 Montana 6

Hi Rick,
Great question! The correct SnapPad for your 2026 Keystone Montana depends on the diameter of the jack feet on your leveling system rather than the trailer model itself. Based on my research, most 2026 Montana fifth wheels equipped with the Lippert six point hydraulic leveling system use 9 inch round jack feet, so I would recommend the SnapPad XTRA Jack Pads for Lippert Leveling Systems with 9 inch round jack feet, part # SP54FR4.
That said, some Montana models came with the upgraded 12 inch round jack feet instead. If yours has those larger feet, the correct choice would be the SnapPad XTRA XL Jack Pads for Lippert Leveling Systems with 11 1/2 inch or 12 inch round jack feet, part # SP74FR4.
To make sure you get the right fit and never have to worry about a pad coming loose, I recommend taking a quick measurement of one of your jack feet before ordering. If your jack foot is round, simply measure the diameter from one edge straight across to the other. That will tell us which SnapPad is the perfect match for your Montana.
Where do you love taking your Montana most, state parks, boondocking, or full hookup resorts?

Hi Rick, I’ve had snap pads on two Grand Design Refection fifth wheels. A 2020 model and now 2024 model. I haven’t had any issues with any of the pads. As a good portion of the peoples republic of California interstate, and our state highways are more like test tracks that’s a fairly good accomplishment. My rig is in storage so I don’t have any recent pictures available. The pads look pretty much like the day I purchased them. The front pads have faded slightly and the rear are little dirtier, but other than that, they’re fine

2023 Grand Design Reflection. Snap pads have worked well for us. This year i am using blocks and the snap pads accommodate well. We have used them for thousands of miles and many campgrounds and truck stops. They work great. Solid buy.

I put them on a Grand Design fifth wheel and have not had to do a thing with them since. The only time I have used any blocks under them is if the ground is very soft. Normally I hit auto level and let the system take over. Would but again for the next unit.

I installed Snap Pads on a 2017 Grand Design 37’ 5th wheel that had Lippert system. Worked great and easy to install. Did it again on a 2020 Grand Design 42’ fifth wheel. We boondocked 80% of the year, so we parked in a lot of places where the ground was rough and not always level. The Snap Pads gave us great stable traction. I dragged a foot one time that bent it pretty good. We removed the Snap Pad, that was STILL hanging on!, straightened the foot at a garage, then installed a new Snap Pad. The old one may have been okay, but recommendation is not to reinstall one, so we put on a new one. I highly recommend Snap Pads.

In my experience the Snap Pads do not work on Lippert Jack Pads. The Lippert pads are very slightly curved and this prevents a tight fit. I followed all the instructions to the letter, put the Snap Pads on brand new Lippert Foot Pads, and ended up losing 3 of the 4 pads. I then switched to another jack pad (name I can’t remember and we no longer have RV). These were thicker and perfectly flat. Added the Snap Pads and they worked great! Really liked the Snap Pads but they are NOT for the Lippert Foot Pads.
