Hi Tom,
We have two axles rated for 3.5K that have an 85" hub face measurement, but they have different spring seat measurements. The Lippert Beam Only Trailer Axle part # LC93PK has a 70" spring center to spring center measurement and fits 10" x 2.25" brakes and has a Super Lube drop spindle with a grease zerk at the end. The Lippert Beam Only Trailer Axle part # LC44FP has all the same features as the previously mentioned axle but has a 68.5" spring center to spring center measurement. If neither of these spring center measurements fit what you have now after measuring your current axle, you can always cut off the spring seats and weld them at the distance you need.
If you need hubs that work with brakes, I suggest using the etrailer Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # AKHD-555-35-EZ-K. It comes pre-greased, is designed to work with the EZ-lube spindles and has a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern with 1/2 studs to work with your current wheels. If you don't have brakes, you can use the etrailer Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3.5K axles part # AKIHUB-555-35-EZ-K. It has the same 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern, comes pre-greased with all the bearings inside, and is also designed to work with the EZ-Lube spindles on the axle.
Does your pontoon trailer typically get used in fresh or salt water?
