Yes, The Curt Base Plate # C66JR will work with Blue Ox Tow bars.

You didn't mention which Year/Make/Model your vehicle is but the above baseplate fits select Silverado/Sierra 1500's so I recommend going with the Blue Ox # BX7420 which is rated to 10,000lbs so you know even with your truck loaded with gear you won't be overloading the tow bar.

If you can send me the Year/Make/Model of your specific truck I'd be happy to recommend the remaining parts needed to flat tow your vehicle.

Curt site says it won't fit the 3.0L Diesel. Your site only says it won't fit the AT4X or the 2.4L. Do you know why this would be?

@Ryan What is your year, make, and model with what engine and trim? I see that on our site the # C66JR works for the following: 2019 - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 2023 - 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 excluding AT4X models with AEV bumper 2022 - 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited 2019 - 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2022 - 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 excluding ZR2 2022 - 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD Once I get your vehicle information I will double check fitment. @Ryan Hey there Ryan, thanks for the vehicle information. Just as long as you have the AT4 and not the AT4X the # C66JR Curt base plate is the right one for you. The reason why it doesn't fit the AT4X is because of the AEV Bumper and the added skid plates because they will get in the way. The only other 2024 GMC 1500 that it doesn't fit is the 2.7L I-4 Turbocharged engine. The reason I am finding on why it won't fit the 2.7L is the engine design so they may have had to make alterations to the frame to make the engine fit. We do not get exact reasons on why they don't fit certain models, but in my research that is the only answer that makes the most sense. Are you new to flat towing, or are you a seasoned flat tower? If you would like suggestions on any of the other flat towing components please let me.
