When you’re not towing, this setup blends right in. The concealed main body keeps the front end clean and unobtrusive, so there’s no bulky hardware showing. The removable draw bars twist out easily, leaving a smooth, factory-style finish that looks right at home on your vehicle.
Getting ready to tow is fast thanks to the twist-lock attachment system. Each arm turns to lock into place and removes just as easily when you’re done. The distance between brackets is 32-1/2" and bracket height is 18", giving you a precise layout for planning your tow bar connection.
This base plate kit is constructed of welded steel that’s been physically tested to its gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). The sturdy design spreads towing forces evenly across the frame to help reduce stress on suspension components. Every piece is precisely welded for strength and fit that lasts through miles of travel.
The high-gloss black powder coat finish isn’t just for looks—it’s co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating inside and out. That double layer of protection helps guard against corrosion and keeps the base plate looking sharp after years on the road.
There’s no welding required here. The kit bolts securely to the chassis using the included hardware, making setup simple and solid. It comes with the base plate, safety cables, and all mounting components you need to get the job done confidently before you hit the road.

Base Plates mounted on my 2022 Ford Bronco is holding up 100. Great quality finish that has not rusted. I have seen base plates from other companies being installed on Broncos and they are making major modifications. Not my Curt Custom Base Plates. An easy DYI with no major modifications. We have towed our Bronco 13,000 miles behind our Class A and its a flawless tow. These base plates were also priced much better then other brands. Thank you Etrailer!
