If you want a towing setup that keeps your vehicle looking stock when it’s not hooked up, this one fits the bill. The main body stays concealed for a clean, OE-style appearance, and the removable arms come off when you’re done towing so there’s nothing in sight. With a completely hidden design and twist-lock tabs, the front end stays tidy and ready for everyday driving.
Getting connected shouldn’t be a hassle. The twist-lock attachment lets each arm slide in, turn to secure, and lock in place with a pin—making connection quick and reliable even if you’re setting up alone. The distance between brackets is 31-1/4" and bracket height is 21", so you can easily plan your tow bar alignment.
Built from welded steel and physically tested to the vehicle’s gross weight rating (GVWR), this kit spreads towing forces evenly across the chassis to help take pressure off the suspension. The sturdy design bolts directly to the frame—no welding required—and stays solid through long hauls. A high-gloss black powder coat with a co-cured rust-resistant Bonderite layer adds lasting protection against road wear.
No need to replace gear you already trust. This base plate works with both Curt and Blue Ox tow bars, giving you flexibility to use what you have or upgrade later. Each kit includes base plates, safety cables, and installation hardware so you have what you need to make a secure connection before hitting the road.
For those who like to handle their own installs, this kit is designed for straightforward bolt-on mounting using basic tools. There’s no welding required—just align it to factory points and torque it down with the included hardware for a dependable fit that’s ready for miles of towing confidence.

Base Plates mounted on my 2022 Ford Bronco is holding up 100. Great quality finish that has not rusted. I have seen base plates from other companies being installed on Broncos and they are making major modifications. Not my Curt Custom Base Plates. An easy DYI with no major modifications. We have towed our Bronco 13,000 miles behind our Class A and its a flawless tow. These base plates were also priced much better then other brands. Thank you Etrailer!
