Installation Of Replacement Hook For Access Tonneau Cover
Updated 01/31/2014 | Published 01/28/2014 >
Question:
Is this access cover replacement Velcro adhesive backed? If not how does it install? If you could contact the manufacturer or pop open a box and look at the instructions that would be great. Thanks,

I pulled the Replacement Velcro Strip, part # A30474 from the warehouse and opened the package to see how it is attached. This is designed to replace the hook side of the velcro fastener on Tonneau covers. Per the instructions you would drill out the fasteners that is holding the hook on the cover with a 1/8 inch drill bit. Then remove the old hook from the cover. The slide the new hook into the channel. when it has been installed into place you then use the self drilling screws at each end to secure it to the rail. this kit is 17 ft long and 1-1/2 inches wide.
