Question:

While looking for a 5th-wheel hitch for my 2023 RAM 2500 with the manufacturer prep pkg, your site will only direct me to the Curt 30k, C74BR model. It will not even offer me any other makes or models to look at. While that will certainly do the job, its a bit of overkill as my max tow capacity is 15,000 lbs and the 5th-swheel Ill be towing is only 11,000 GVWR. Is it only because that is the only hitch you carry that will fit my truck, or am I not looking correctly? Thanks...

The puck system hasn't changed between the 2022 and 2023 models, our fitguide just needs to be updated to reflect every fit so you could essentially choose any puck style hitch for a 2022 Ram 2500 and it will fit your 2023.

You could use a hitch like the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # C16520-16021, which will drop right into your pucks for an easy installation and has a 16,000lb capacity.

Personally, I prefer B&W when it comes to quality and ride quality so I would go with the # BWRVK3600, but I understand if you feel the 20k capacity is a bit overkill.

If you have a short bed then I recommend going with the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3670, which has the ability to slide back 12" for additional turning clearance in tight spaces.
