If you'll be building an off-road overlanding trailer then I recommend the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension part # ASR35HDS02 which has a built-in lift for more ground clearance and longer spindles for use with wider off-road tires. In regards to brakes/idler hubs, I recommend setting the trailer up for brakes as these will come in handy when going down steep inclines on rough terrain as the last thing you want is the weight of the trailer pushing you down and possibly into a bad situation. It will cost a bit more but will be well worth it in the long haul and you'll be glad you did. In order to do this you'll need a mix of the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459 and Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ. You could then pair all this with the Westlake ST235/75R15 Off-Road Tire w/ 15" Liger Aluminum Wheel part # LH46FR which is a great option for off-road traction that meets trailer tire specifications.
The Ark Articulating Off-Road Coupler for 2" Receivers part # AR44FR is then what I recommend for the coupler.
