Dimensions of the Knob for the Redarc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller

Question:

Looking at the trailer brake controller with 9/16 dial knob for 2021 Cadillac XT5. Can you tell me the dimensions of the knob case. We have a 3/4” by 2 1/2 wide slot on left side of steering wheel. So need to know dimensions of not the 9/16 dial but of the part behind the knob itself.

The control knob dimensions are 2-3/8" long x 3/4" wide x 7/8" tall. To install the Knob on the item # RED44FR, you will need 1-3/4" of depth, a space 9/16" wide, and 3/4" tall; the size of the hole required is 25/64". The space behind the knob is 1-3/4"
