Recommended Flat Towing Parts and Hitch for a 2022 Ford Maverick

Will this tow a Ford Maverick double cab hybrid 2022, it can be flat towed. what other parts to I need including parts for Maverick frame, and electrical for Maverick. Also need Maverick towing hitch with 2 inch receptable and ball, the maverick can only tow 2000 lbs, but I have a small utility trailer with 2 inch receptable for towing 2 inch ball, have 4 pin hook up on trailer. RV towing this Maverick is a Thor Vegas 2022 with 8000 lbs towing capacity. would probably need a receiver with 2 inch ball if I tow anything else behind it.

Yes, the Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar item # BX7420 will pull a Ford Maverick. Since you're using a Blue Ox tow bar you will want to use a set of Blue Ox baseplates. For this I recommend the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit item # BLU88XR. This base plate kit has removable arms and will give you as close to a factory look when you are not flat towing your Maverick as possible.

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # DM86VR
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
To add a 2" hitch to your Maverick you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C84BR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Maverick with included hardware.
Since you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C59DR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
The Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534 would work on your Thor Vegas as well but it tops out at 7,500 lbs. If you plan on using your full 8,000 lbs capacity you will need the etrailer Ball Mount Kit item # EBMK2416.
