is this the same shape - fit as ome ford nz6z-17d826-c. ?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C84BR is not the same shape as the Ford OEM hitch but the installation process is similar. Like the OEM hitch, the Curt hitch will bolt onto the frame and sit behind the rear bumper so the end result will be the same.

When installing the Curt # C84BR you have the option to either cut a hole in the bumper insert panel or completely remove it. The OEM hitch calls for the removal of the panel so if you do choose to remove this it will look identical to the Ford hitch after the installation has been completed.

If you plan on doing some towing with your hitch I recommend the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK95VR for your wiring needs. This will add a 7-way to your 2022 Ford Maverick. If you need a 4-way you can use an adapter like the # PK12716. For a complete towing setup you will also need a ball mount like the # e67DR.
