Can Foot Plate of Trailer Jack be Replaced with Wheel

Updated 01/31/2023 | Published 01/28/2023

Question:

I have a small utility trailer with a welded on pull pin flat-foot jack. Id like to modify it to a swivel-wheel jack, but dont have the equipment to cut the existing jack off. Can I simply swap out the lower part of the jack, that is, remove the flat-foot pad that cranks out, and replace with a swivel wheel? Thanks

Some jacks do have wheel casters that can replace the foot plate like what you are looking for but there isn't a universal solution that works on all jacks. Instead you'd have to get me the jack brand and model (if you can) and I can see if there's a wheel caster available. There isn't a huge percentage of jacks that have this available so hopefully we get lucky.

I attached a link to a page that has all of the wheel casters we offer for trailer jacks for you to check out as well.
