Can Firestone Ride-Rite Air Spring Be Installed Slightly Off Vertical for 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:
I just installed the Firestone bags on my 2022 Chevy 2500HD. I followed the video you posted and of course the instructions. The drivers side bag won’t line up perfectly vertical. It’s a little off, so the bag has a little lean. I confirmed I’m in the middle hole, but the brackets don’t allow for any lateral adjustment. Is this a problem or just the nature of bolt on mods and slight differences between trucks? Pax side is fine, it’s just the drivers side.

Your installation of the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2613 on your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD actually looks great! I reached out to my contact at Firestone just to confirm and they said adding some air pressure to the bags will probably straighten it out some but that the double convoluted springs can be off for up to 1" per convolute (so 2" for your application). Since your air spring isn't even close to being off by 2" you're good to go!
