Your Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 can be used with your 2009 Honda CR-V by addition of compatible base plates on the Honda. We offer the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521559-4, which features no-welding installation using included hardware, and removable arms to allow your CR-V to retain most of its normal appearance when not being flat towed. These base plates are compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars.
Flat towing requires a number of components besides the tow bar and base plates. You also need safety cables, lighting for the toad and a supplemental braking system to engage its brakes when the RV brakes are applied. Each of these components is reviewed in detail in the linked article on flat towing. I have also included an article that covers the features of Roadmaster tow bars. Pricing is available on the product pages.
