Recommended Hitch for a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

I have a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 and it didn't come with a hitch. I see you have a few options I would like to get one that has close to the same capacity as much truck which is 9,500 lbs.

The hitch that will be able to get you every bit of your 2023 GMC Sierra 1500's capacity is the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C59UR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Sierra with included hardware. It is made specifically for the Sierra 1500's that do not come from the factory with a hitch.

This is a class IV hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 10,000 lbs towing capacity and a 1,000 lbs maximum tongue weight. This capacity can be increased to 12,000 lbs and 1,200 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.

I really like this hitch because it tucks up beneath the bed of your truck and the receiver sits right below your rear bumper. This really helps with ground clearance.
