What Is the Replacement Table Leg Kit for etrailer RV Dinette Tables Made Of

Question:
Hey etrailer, I have a question about item #e69RR, its an RV table leg replacement with a recessed mount. Will this product rust? Im planning to remove the old TV antenna on the roof of my class A rig, and was thinking the recessed mount could be used to plug the hole from the antenna, and I could use the table leg to mount a weather station on when Im parked. I would probably need this to be rust proof like maybe a hard anodized or bare aluminum for this idea to work, but I cant seem to find any information on the metal that was used. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks!

The Replacement Table Leg Kit for etrailer RV Dinette Tables part # e69RR is made of steel and has a black painted finish. It's designed for use indoors but the painted finish would provide protection from the elements if used outdoors. That's about as much as I can say for alternative applications.
