Parts Needed To Switch a 3,500LB Axle To 5 on 5" Idler Hubs on 5X8 Utility Trailer

Question:

Hi I have a 5x8 A-FRAME GATE PandT trailer with a 3500LB axle. I would like to change the hubs to a 5 and 5 instead of a 5 and 4.5 hub. What do I need to do to make this possible?

Expert Reply:

You only need 2 of the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-550-35-EZ-K to change your current 5 on 4-1/2" hub to a 5 on 5" hub on your 5x8 P&T trailer. You will need 2 of these as they are sold individually and will come with new bearings pre-filled with grease.
