Question:

Good morning. I have a tuxedo above the rail t-slot system with an inside the rail roll up soft cover. Im looking to purchase crossrails that mount into the t-slots that allow me to mount my thule motion XL carrier to the crossrails. I would also like if the option of rolling up the cover would still be an option. My vehicle is a 2022 f250 crew cab long bed. According to my measurements the center to center distance on the t-slots are approximately 67-1/2 in.

Thanks for reaching out, I have the perfect solution for you!

To add a rack system to your 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty and TruXedo tonneau with the TS Rail system I recommend using one of the Yakima ladder racks; the OutPost HD # Y01152-5855 sits 13" above the bed rails while the OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855 is more of a standard ladder rack and has adjustable heights from 19" - 30" above your bed rails. I like the Yakima solutions because they are extremely easy to install and use. I've installed the OverHaul HD a number of times and it's honestly my favorite rack we sell here at etrailer.

If you're on a little more of a budget then I recommend checking out the Telescoping Rack # TX84NV from TruXedo which was designed by them to work specifically with the TS Rails. This system is a little more straightforward and doesn't feature some of the add-on possibilities we see with the OverHaul HD but it would still be useful for mounting your Thule Motion XL # TH629806 at the back of your truck.

You might be able to get away with using a rack system like the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks # Y02-500B-NT but we haven't confirmed this fitting with the TS Rails and the legs of this system are only 3" tall and unsure whether that's enough height for you to still be able to roll up your tonneau cover with everything in place.
