The easier install between the Curt and Draw-Tite trailer hitch receivers for your 2023 Chevy Equinox is the Draw-Tite hitch, which is the following part number:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76419
The reason why is when installing the Curt # C77FR hitch you have to enlarge the holes in the frame rails for the mounting hardware to fit, something that does not have to be done with the Draw-Tite hitch.
With the easier install and the hitches otherwise having the same 4,500 lbs towing/675 lb tongue weight capacity and concealed look, I do recommend going with the Draw-Tite # 76419.
