Will the weather tech step affect my rear backup camera?

The WeatherTech BumpStepXL Hitch-Mounted Bumper Protector and Step for 2" Hitch part # WT81BS1XL should not interfere with the backup camera or reverse sensors on a vehicle. We aren't able to test this for every vehicle obviously but in most cases, it does not stick out far enough to affect either the backup camera or reverse sensors. If you need helping reaching items on the roof of the vehicle, this is the perfect step for you that will make this task much easier.
Please note, the step does not come with a hitch pin and in order to prevent theft I do recommend a locking one, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches part # e98880.

I have a 2024 Honda CRV hybrid. Does this interfere with my back-up camera and also the hands-free tailgate? How about the 24-inch version bumpstep?
