Question:

Just purchased a 2022 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS. Its still at the dealer, how do I determine which Reese Goose box to use? My tow vehicle is a gas 2015 F250 with a 6foot 9inch bed. I will be using a BandW turnball. I do not know the size of the ball.

Congrats on the new trailer and thanks for the picture and extra information! I just spoke with my rep at Lippert and it looks like your Jayco Eagle has a Lippert Turning Point which limits your options. The only gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter for this pin box is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert Turning Point - 21K - 3.5K TW item # GY48GR.

There are no Reese Goose Boxes that will replace the Turning Point pin box.

The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY48GR has a 21,000 lbs capacity and is rated for 3,500 lbs of tongue weight. It will work great with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # BWGNRK1111, that fits your 2015 Ford F-250.

You will also need the Tow Ready Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # 49150. The gooseneck to 5th wheel adapters do not include the required safety chains.

Since you have the short bed I recommend using the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # BWGNXA4085. This offset hitch ball will drop right down into the square receiver on your turnover ball and give you an extra 4" of clearance for making tight turns and backing into spaces.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 10' Long item # C56000. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
