Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring Not Working on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500

Question:

Hello i have a 2023 Chevy 3500 HD with a trailer. Driver side lights work but passenger lights do not work on the trailer. 7 way pin on the bumper and in the bed of the truck. I checked all the fuses on the truck for trailer and none of them made my circuit tester light up. The 7 way pin on the bumper was tested as well and the turn signals were not working. I connected to the 7 way in the bed of the truck and same thing not lights on the passenger side. Made sure i have good ground. Only thing that i can think of is the recall this year of truck has for the trailer control module.

Sounds like you've followed every troubleshooting tip I could offer you Omar. I do think you need to reach out to GM about your wiring issue especially knowing there's a recall.

Hey Omar, were you able to get any answers from GM about the trailer light issue on your Chevy 3500? Knowing what they said could help others dealing with the same recall.
