In order to tow a trailer with a 2018 Ford Transit T250 you'll need to start with a trailer hitch and for this I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98842 which has a class III rating suited for towing or hauling hitch mounted accessories. It also features a no-drill, bolt-on installation. The next thing you'll need is a trailer wiring harness and for this I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56327. This can then be upgraded to a 4/7-Way using the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. If the trailer has brakes then you can easily add a controller to this harness using the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160.
In order to complete your towing setup you'll just need the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches part # C45534.
