Solution to Convert Gooseneck Trailer Coupler to Fifth Wheel King Pin

Question:
I have an enclosed gooseneck trailer that I would like to change to a mini fifth wheel. I just converted my truck with parts from your company to a BandW hitch. The trailer has a 4 3/8 outside dimension square down tube with 1 alignment holes. Thanks,

We don't have an inner tube replacement king pin adapter that you can replace yours with but you could use the Ram Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter part # KPG5-R30 which would require you to cut off the outer tube you have now and weld this in place if it. Regardless of if you could find an inner tube setup that would fit it wouldn't work since the king pins sit up a lot higher than gooseneck couplers. This is due to fifth wheel hitches being typically about 12 inches taller than gooseneck balls.
Worth mentioning too is that if you installed a B and W gooseneck hitch you could pretty easily just use the gooseneck ball of that with your gooseneck coupler.
