Good question, and there is just a single difference between the Curt and etrailer trailer hitches that fit your 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500, which is the finish. The Curt has a glossier finish than the matte black finish of the etrailer hitch, so you can choose which you prefer:
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98849
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13322
The matte black finish is nice as it hides the inevitable dings, scuffs and scratches better than the glossy finish, so that's the way I'd go, but if you don't feel strongly either way about the finish, then just go with the best price. Otherwise, these are the exact same hitch with the same 6,000 lb towing/600 lb tongue weight capacities and simple bolt-on installation.
