Troubleshooting MaxxFan 4951KS that Lid Wont Lift With Wall Switch

I have a MAXXFAN MODEL 4951KS The fan turns on but the vent will not open with the wall button. The vent will open manually and close manually. When I push the wall button to open it ,it beeps in the vent. Any ideas?

Most likely the circuit board on your MaxxAir MaxxFan 4951KS is malfunctioning and can be replaced with the Replacement Printed Circuit Board for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vents # MA10A04751KS. If it seems hard to open manually like the operator may be having issues then a replacement operator part # MA10-20281K-1AF would be what you'd need.
