Troubleshooting A Furrion T.V That Wont Turn On

Question:

My furrion TV in my motorhome will not come on. No lights on the TV are on. The red light on the power plug in is blinking. Check fuse ok.

Other than replacing the T.V there is not much else that can be done, however before you go and replace the unit, I recommend trying one more thing.

What you're going to want to do is unplug the T.V from power for approximately 60 seconds, then plug it back in and check again. It sounds silly, but sometimes a hard reset is all a device needs to get working again.

You could alternatively try unplugging the T.V like before, but hold down the power and volume down button at the same time as well while plugging back in after waiting the 60 seconds.

If none of that works, then you likely have a faulty unit and will need to replace it with a new unit like the Jensen LED RV Smart TV - 1080P - 2 HDMI - 110 Volts ASA38VR.

Hello, I have the 65" outdoor tv. the sound is on but no picture. I have had the tv for only 4 years. I keep my tv covered. I know here in Ga. we have been getting rain for 2 months now. Thanks Anthony

@AnthonyB Have you tried to swap out any of the cords or connectors, or have you tried a different TV yet?

@Anthony That's a great place to start! Hopefully one of the cords that's easy to change out ended up just getting some dirt in it or something so it's an easy fix. Try swapping out different components to the whole setup to see if you can isolate what part is wrong. It could be that the TV just needs to be replaced, but it could also be as simple as an HDMI cord or something like that.
