How Much Power Does The OptiMate Solar Duo Solar Charging System # MA79JR Pull At Night?

Question:

Hi, If you know, how much does the charge controller included with this solar panel part number: MA79JR, drain the battery during the night from the indicator lights on the controller? I plan to permanently install this on my truck camper, and I dont want the current flowing in the opposite direction, draining the battery overnight. Thanks

At night or when no solar power is reaching the OptiMate Solar Duo Solar Charging System with Controller # MA79JR the controller switches to Monitoring mode and only draws 0.5milliamps of power. As soon as it senses charge coming from the panel it will automatically switch to Charge mode to charge and maintain the on board battery.
