Can I tow a 2020 or 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid with an eCVT transmission 4 flat behind my RV?

Yes, both the 2020 and 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid are flat towable as long as you have the HF45 transmission. You will want to verify this is your transmission with your Ford dealer.
I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM39FR for attaching to the front of your Escape. That will allow you to mount the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 from your tow vehicle to the Escape. You may need a High-Low Adapter like the 4" # RM-048-4 to keep the tow bars within 3" of level when towing.
The RoadMaster Nighthawk All Terrain Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 will provide you with the wiring for controlling the tail lights on your Escape off your motor home. The kit also includes locks, a storage bag, cover and lube for your tow bars. You will also need a Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to maintain your battery while you are towing your Escape.
Depending on your tow vehicle will decide what supplemental braking system you should use. If your motorhome has air Brakes you need the Demco Air Force One # DM26VR. For a motorhome with hydraulic brakes the Demco Stan-IN-Play DUO # DM86VR is the one you will want. Both these are installed on your Escape so there is no portable unit that can get misplaced or stolen.
