Is my breakaway light supposed to be on when unit up and running Brk 2012

Yes, the "BK/AWAY ON" light will stay illuminated on the Blue Ox Patriot Braking System BRK2012 while in use. If there is an error with the breakaway system you should see a number "7" on the display but if not then all is good. The light simply indicates the system has power and is ready to use when needed.

Per your video the breakaway light does not light up as mine does not either. So I assume with no light it’s still active and ready?
