Question:
Hello- Im looking for a four pin connector for a 2008 Chevy Uplander. Two of your products for this vehicle items 118396 and 56077 both fit, but have very different mounting connections/methods shown on the installation videos. Can either be used? What are the differences? Thank you

Expert Reply:
Both the Tekonsha T-One # 118396 and the Curt T-Connector # 56077 wiring harnesses will work for your 2008 Chevrolet Uplander like you mentioned, and out of both options I recommend the Curt simply because it's much easier to install but still produces the same result.
The Curt plugs into a factory connector while the Tekonsha tees in behind the tail lights. So both options fit your vehicle, but the Curt is just easier to install since you only need to access that one side of the vehicle.
Both installation videos are linked for you to reference as well.
