Question:

Hello, I have 2017 GMC Terrain. I am looking to buy hitch so I can haul a bike. Can you tell me the best option. I was looking at the code 76028 hitch. But wanted to see what you recommend since only need to haul bike. And if there is anything in addition I would need to buy . Thank you!

I recommend the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack # SH22G as it is very easy to use and the built in locking system ensures your bike will still be there if you leave it on your rack. It has a lightweight aluminum construction at only 32lbs and is rated to carry 2 bikes up to 40lbs each.

You should install a T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118494 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector that you can use with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 on the bike rack. These are often needed since the wheels of most bikes will obstruct the clear view for other drivers. It can also be used in the event you need to tow a small trailer in the future.
