Why Would Trailer Hitch Install Hardware Seem Like it's Too Big to Fit
Published 07/23/2024 >
Question:
The bolts in the kit going horizontally in the trailer hitch are not the same thread that I have on my vehicle. How can you correct this issue in a timely fashion?

Hey Richard, this is a pretty common problem but the issue is actually that the threads of the weld nuts on your vehicle frame have too much dirt/corrosion in them which is preventing the bolts from threading in. Using a thread tap to clean them out is normally the best solution for this.
