Hey there I’m looking a trailer hitch for my 2021 jetta gli and I’m wondering what options you have available. Preferably one that is easier to install. Thanks!

We do have a hitch that will fit the 2021 Jetta GLI. It looks like the GLI has dual exhaust and the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 24978 is the only one that is compatible with it.

I like this hitch because it mounts behind the bumper. The only part of the hitch that is visible will be the 2" x 2" receiver. This helps with appearance and ground clearance for towing and accessories. The only drawback to this type of hitch is the installation is more difficult.

If you are going to be towing with your Jetta you will need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and a ball mount set up item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
