Question:

Im buying a new 5th wheel trailer and the service department says these type hitch adapters will void the warranty. Is this true? They say I need to use an Anderson adapter. My truck has the BW turnover ball.

Technically any of the fifth wheel trailer to gooseneck adapters that attach to the trailers pin box will void the warranty of the trailer. The only similar option that won't is the Reese Goose Box which is a pin box style replacement adapter. I would need to know what trailer you have to pick that out. Or since you have a B and W Turnoverball gooseneck you could just use a Companion fifth wheel hitch that fits it directly like the part # BWRVK3500 for a fixed hitch or part # BWRVK3400 for a slider (if you have a short bed and need turning clearance). Most refer to the Companion hitches as the best hitches around and this wouldn't void your warranty either.
