Lift Kit Solution for Tandem Axle Trailer for Lift of 2-1/4 inches
Updated 08/10/2022 | Published 08/08/2022 >
Question:
My leaf spring suspension has multiple holes on the front and rear spring hangers, but not at the center where it tandams. Question, can i place the front and rear spring hanger bolts in a lower hole on the shackles without doing anything where they connect and swivel in the middle to raise the trailer? Need to raise trailer about 3s.

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you can't lower the center hanger bolt too you wouldn't want to try and lower the outside hangers as the spring would no longer hang level which would affect performance of the suspension. A better option would be to use the Correct Track Tandem lift kit part # RR23QX which can give your trailer a lift of up to 2-1/4 inches. We do not have a 3 inch lift kit available nor do we know of one elsewhere.
