Installing wiring on my 2022 ranger to flat tow. Currently I use a 7 to 4 round on my current toed vehicle. Want the battery charge wire for the ranger. When I plug into the 7 wire on the motorhome is it a direct wiring fuction for the 6 wire i.e. left turn, right turn etc.. Does the wire function follow the 4 to 6 towed vehicle swap?

What you need is the Roadmaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit # RM-146-7. This comes with the 7-way to 6-way cord along with the 6- pole socket for your 2022 Ford Ranger. If you have a Roadmaster All Terrain tow bar or a tow bar with channel guides you can use the # RM-98146-7 instead.
As far as the wiring goes, all you have to do is follow the diagram below and everything will match up once you complete the installation. If you don't already have a charge line on your vehicle or motorhome, you will need the # RM-156-25 for the vehicle and # RM-156-75 for your motorhome as well.
