Hey John, welcome back! For a dual hitch receiver with a 10" drop or rise, I recommend the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter item # RM23SR. This adapter is going to insert directly to your motorhome's 2" receiver. It'll provide a 2" receiver that is level with your motorhome's hitch and a second 2" receiver that is either 10" below or 10" above it. The adapter has a 10,000 lbs towing capacity and a 400 lbs maximum tongue weight.

Please note that the Roadmaster item # RM23SR can only be used for flat towing. It can not be used for a trailer.

What kind of bike rack do you have?

Thanks Jerred - - the description of the hitch says to use when you are flat towing? I am towing my Equinox using a tow dolly I bought from etailer. Will this hitch support dolly towing? John

@JohnB You're welcome! Good catch because I missed the tow dolly part and I do apologize. The item # RM23SR will not work with a tow dolly. Those are treated like trailer's with the high/low adapters. Instead you will need to use the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers item # 325-GH-315. With the ball mount in the rise position on your motorhome you'll be able to hook up your tow tolly to the included dual hitch ball inserted in the lowest position on the stacked receivers. You will then be able to mount your bike rack in the top receiver position. I do recommend measuring the clearance from your motorhome's hitch pin to the nearest edge of the back of your motorhome. The hitch pins on the item # 325-GH-315 are 3" and 4-5/8" from the closest portion of the ball mounts receivers. There's a diagram towards the bottom of the product page for the item # 325-GH-315 that shows these measurements. I want to make sure you don't hit any part of your motorhome with the stacked receivers if your hitch is installed way back behind the edge of your motorhome.

Hey Jerred, thanks for the information and details. My bike rack is a single ebike unit. As for towing, I use a Demco Tow Dolly pulling my 2021 Chevy Equinox. Will this hitch support my tow dollt? John
