Hello, can you please give me some perspective on the degree of difficulty for installation of this receiver on. a 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback?? E.g. trim removal required? Bolt-on v. drilling?

The installation difficulty for the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT29GR on a 2022 Audi Q5 is rated 10/10 from the manufacturer. That said, I still think this is something an individual with minimal mechanical experience can do themselves. It's not hard per se but rather time consuming so as long as you give yourself an afternoon to get the job done, there should be few issues. You don't need a lift or special tools and there is no drilling or welding but you do have to remove the rear bumper cover which is honestly not hard but again, time consuming.

Please note, all the hitches for the vehicle carry a 10/10 difficulty rating so pick the one you want and take your time with the install. The end result will be worth the trouble.
