Can this be used on trailers other than the CE Smith?

Yes, the CE Smith Coupler Lift Handle # CE32420 can be used on other trailers. The handle includes 2 sets of mounting holes for 3/8" or 1/2" hardware. If your trailer has a coupler that is attached to the frame using 1/2" bolts that are spread 3" on center or 3/8" by 2-1/4" on center this will be able to attach directly to the coupler bolts. Otherwise you will be able to drill holes in your tongue for either set of holes.
