If you're having trouble with the shock absorber on your B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300, then the only solution is to replace the entire head as replacement shock absorbers are not offered as a replacement.
I know it's not the best situation, however you can use the:
-Replacement Head Assembly for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVC3006 for a replacement.
