Troubleshooting Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Doesnt Fit on 2010 Kia Soul

Question:

It will not fit over the frame of the kia to mount. It is either not compatible or it was bent when shipped to me.

The Curt # C11110 is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Kia Soul. You can see in the attached video that we have successfully installed this hitch on the 2010 model. Hitches like this one are designed to be able to flex some so I'm sure it won't fit over the frame because the brackets are slightly bent.

There are numerous ways to flex it back into place such as using a table vise or even on on the vehicle frame. Also, it is important to inspect your hitch for any cracks or chipped paint. These are signs that the hitch may have flexed enough to be considered unsafe and should be replaced.
